"Convention Conversations" Series Swings Back Through Denver Area...
After several months out on the road – traveling to Pueblo, Boulder and even over the state line to Las Vegas – the “Convention Conversations” community forum series returns to the Denver metro area on March 3rd, when 7th District Congressman Ed Perlmutter joins DNCC CEO Leah Daughtry at the Belmar Center in Lakewood.
After unprecedented turnout and enthusiasm around Colorado’s early caucuses, this latest “Convention Conversations” community forum will provide an opportunity to find out how you can get engaged in the next step of the political process: the 2008 Democratic National Convention right here in Denver. We welcome your questions and ideas on making the 2008 Convention the most exciting and successful yet.

Please use any influence the DNCC has to persuade super delegates to vote for the nominee who has won the popular vote.

After watching me, her mom , for 40 years in the trenches of DFL politics in Minnesota, my married daughter and her husband & family having moved back to Colorado residing in the city of Parker, 30 miles or so south of Denver and knowing that the national convention is scheduled for Denver, she decided to attend her first precinct caucus recently. They are quite familiar with Colorado, having previously lived in Denver for 7 years while in graduate school and 7 years in Grand Junction, and now in Tampa, Florida for over 12 years, but job relocation has brought husband Pete back to the hospitals of Denver. After my daughter attended her first political caucus this year, she said it was rather disappointing. While she had already decided on a national candidate, she expected more conversation about and for the candidates which never happened. I hope to be a first time national delegate from MN and will plan to get more informed thru this contact. Hope that proves to be true. Regards, from a strong MN Democrat..It is our only path to a better future for the common good of we rural citizens.
